Extreme lack of communication!!! Left several messages through the answering service and never received a response! Allowing people to rent houses that have black mold. My wife had been sick for 3 months!
I need my damn roof fixed. A tree fell on my roof near my sons and daughter room in July before the floods in Saint Louis even happened. It took them about 3 weeks to even get the tree off my roof. And here it is now November and they say they are only going to fix the inside dry wall and replace the carpet but leave the 3 big ***holes in the roof so when it continues to rain and eventually snow, the roof will probably cave in. We lived in a home in Dayton for a year and a half, maintenance employees were nice and competent if they showed up. We had mold in our house from a leak in the roof, was told last Christmas that they would take care of it in the spring, in spring I put another order in, they came out said we would be top priority, the roof was never fixed. I scrubbed the walls, repainted and sealed the bedroom that was involved, took out the carpet, padding etc, bleached the area myself. My lease was taken over in August. Since then, we have been trying to find out how to see and pay our utility bills. Over the past two months, we have been told at least 6 different things. I still haven’t seen a utility bill. My water was two months late and in risk of disconnection in September. I called and emailed numerous times over a period of several weeks to finally get it paid but no response on how to see or pay my bill in the future. Worst renting experience I've had. Vinebrook bought the rental I was in, (who weren't much better) in August and I have still not heard from their retention department despite numerous emails. The only person who heard from them was my roommate. I can't communicate with them, can't pay rent, can't put in maintenance requests, nothing. When they took over, they made us switch our utility bills over to them, and now one month before we leave, our water is turned off suddenly just after they tell us to take our bills back. I am stuck with no way in residence. No one in customer service can helped me they keep sending me to different extensions with no prevail. They have $700 of my money , incurred uhaul late fees as well. They do not have good customer service or any consideration for peoples time.
Vinebrook bought my house on September 19th got an email without a letter head or saying vinebrook. It was a link for me to do a lease & payment but it didn't let me access it. Then on the 4th of October an associate calls I tell her what the problem is she gives me access to pay my rent then on the 12th of October I get an email stating I have to move & a lease can not be renewed. Leaving me in a bind to find a house & have deposit & rent
I think this company should be shut down. They kept my security deposit made up some fake my lease went until a month after my year was up. Tried to charge me for drip pans which I guess I will get my $25 back for as the stove was flat surface electric and didn’t even have drip pans but replied they could not give me my $744. The worst rental company in the world!!! I can’t wait till my lease is over in March !!! The don’t pick up the phone , you make a maintenance request they don’t fix anything !! I don’t have hot water , no one has called said I will be out in 24 or 48 hours nothing !!! I made a request for my tub 6 months ago I’m still waiting on someone to come to fix the broken tiles !! Please do NOT rent from these people !! But they want they rent money every month lol ! I don’t know how they are still in business … smh
