Dr. Gallagher is a saint and there is no better veterinarian in town. He was diligent in helping me care for my sick pup, always available and providing updates, and had the utmost kindness and compassion for me during such a difficult time. He was with me when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge and anyone who has ever loved an animal knows how incredibly difficult that is. I look forward to taking my next pup to see him but am saddened that he won't be at Vinton Vet full time anymore. This is a huge loss!

Took great care of our dog Tucker from the moment we arrived to board him for vacation. We will use them again for sure

Our little Tucker started out his life going to Vinton Vet. He was always given the best care by staff and his doctors. Tucker was a good boy. Sweet, gentle, playful and devoted to his humans who loved him with our whole hearts. He was our joy. Recently, his life ended there as well. He was usher out of this life ,into his next, with his family near his side and by the tender care of Dr. Laura Burkholder. Thank you Dr Laura for your honesty , empathy and compassion. I've had an open chart with one or more pets under care at Vinton Vet since 1978!!! - back when Dr. Buckland was doing Farm calls on my horses. We're down to one dog and one cat now; Dr. Buckland, bless him, retired, and we were randomly assigned to Dr. Hertweck. SO very happy with her, and all of the staff, some that I've known for years. Thank you for all of your care. I know that my kids are in the best hands!
