Being new to the area and needing to find good veterinary care for my fur babies a friend of my daughter recommended Vinton Veterinary Hospital took my fur baby to them they even called my out of state vet and got Sammie's records sent. I was very pleased with the care that they had given to my baby, the staff was very friendly I plan on keeping them.
I'm very happy to see that they loved my baby like he was theirs. He is old but he's still with us �
Took my 17 yr old cat to have 3 teeth removed..after she came home she went down hill fast..Brought her back and was told she had severe kidney failure possibly due to the trauma and shock..Not much hope was given and we considered putting her to sleep..Dr Wiegard did not give up and kept her a few days with treatment...Happy to report that she is home and doing fine..blood work almost normal...Cats really do have 9 lives..Big thanks to the staff and a huge thank you to Dr Wiegard.....
Wonderful caring staff here at Venton Veterinary, wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else.
My daughter, Karrie and I, had to make a very difficult decision on January 13, 2017 about our dear little cat, Olive, because she was very sick and wasn't eating or drinking and antibiotics were not working. The caring staff at Vinton Veterinary Hospital, especially Dr. Derek O'Dell, helped make our decision to end Olive's life less stressful. He was very professional and caring. Thank you to all the staff at Vinton Veterinary Hospital for doing all you could for Olive.
I love vinton vet. I take all of my dogs there. My little dog Cassie has bad skin allergies and she is epileptic and they have helped me improve her life. She has not had a seizure for years and we are getting her skin under control now with the help of allergy shots. She is doing so good.
