Honestly, I don't know which team this is for, the Tennessee loan or the California loan. The Tennessee loan went very smoothly. The California loans was a bit bumpy. There was a long delay between telling the team I was having trouble with a document until the time it was resolved - 3 weeks I believe. I could have used more communication from both teams. A 4-month closing is a very long time. the California house was a difficult one to get approval on so I am very happy you got it done.

I have dealt with Matthew in the past and as always, he was professional and friendly. I got my loan approval in a fair amount of time but it did take longer than I had anticipated for the funds to be distributed. Had I know how long it would take, I would have waited on the repairs on my house. I was told due to the low interest that many people were applying for loans/refi and it slowed down the normal process.

The web site was excellent for submitting the paperwork. I felt that the numbers that were originally given to me regarding the refinance did not include the actual dollars that were on the title paperwork. Items that may seem "normal" to a mortgage company were not familiar to me. I felt that I was always a step behind in understanding what was happening. Also at the end, I waited for my final paperwork and after calling found out they had a typo on my email. A very confusing process.
