The presentation different APR's was confusing compared to several other times that we have gone about the same process. Instead of showing different options and indicating how much each lower APR would "Cost" us up front, the cost was rolled into the loan amount. Is this AMCAP's "SOP"? It smacks of the kinds of thing we saw when shopping for manufactured/ modular homes, which its self reminded me more of shopping for a car than a home. I never did get thorough cost/ benefit explanation.
