I was referred to Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery by my dentist as they found a "growth" on my uvula which was concerning as wasn't sure what it meant. I met with Dr. Harris and he as well as the office staff made me feel comfortable on what would be needed. I scheduled my appointment very quickly and was able to address within that week; was even moved up to an earlier appointment. Dr. Monroe Harris is very thorough. Before you have surgery you will have to list every medication and every vitamin supplement that you take, Their office has great follow up for reminders and to make sure you do not eat or drink a minimum of 6-8 hrs prior to surgery. I followed instructions and had no issues. Everything went smoothly. I had 2 teeth extracted and I had very minimal bleeding and very little pain. Everything turned out better than I expected.
