Great location, food, and ambiance in the patio. The restaurant had a good COVID management plan and the ordering on line was very convenient. Due to the road closure adjacent to the restaurant, the parking was even harder than usual.

The food and ambience are always wonderful at WA Frost. However, the menu was limited and expensive. A management fee was added to our bill.

Was the first time we dined out since covid and celebrated our 9yr anniversary. Made a 4:30 reservation to try and avoid people in the dinner rush. Liked they had sanitizer for guests and signs saying masks required unless seated. And tape spaced 6ft apart leading to host stand. Spent $175 for the 2 of us: 4 drinks, 2 apps and steak dinners. We ordered 2 steaks medium-rare, but received 2 medium. It was fine, but expected WA to cook their steaks more accurately. Everyone there was working hard, so didn’t want to send back a ... read more

A group of four people (two couples) and the patio is wonderful. We have eaten here many times in the past and the food is usually excellent. Not this time. Three people in our group ordered the veggie wrap and it was universally considered dry and tasteless. The fourth person had a lettuce salad with chicken and it was okay. It’ll be a while before we go back.

Perfect atmosphere. Outdoors, socially distanced, gorgeous ambience, great food and drinks, friendly and attentive staff. A++ experience.

Frost has a great patio, but it's really banking on that to set its prices. We got two drinks, and with the new COVID-related surcharge, they came to $28. We also ordered a charcuterie plate that came to $25 and consisted of some mustard and half a sandwich worth of cold cuts. Overall I was pretty disappointed in the value for the high prices. I understand restaurants are dealing with a lot right now as far as operations, but this was kind of a joke.

We always love visiting the WA Frost patio for special occasions. The night we were visiting the City of St. Paul had imposed a curfew so we would have been out of luck if I hadn't called to find out if we could move our reservation a bit earlier. (They don't call to tell you if they are closing because of weather or otherwise, I had learned this the hard way earlier this summer so call ahead before you go to make sure they are still open!) One thing to note is the patio is looking a little shabbier and unkempt than in past ... read more

COVID hasn’t diminished the ambience of the best patio dining in the TC, but it has made the service something to be desired. Thanks for doing your best to make it work!
