We were enjoying the patio at WA Frost for our anniversary. I were very impressed with how they are handling spacing, ordering and the 90 minute reservation was perfect.
It was hard with the contactless ordering and no service really. I get it and I understand. Just very different.
Noise level is low - not energetic. Menu is limited these days during COVID but the management urges you to read the menu before you come. We had a lovely evening dining outside on their beautiful shady patio - felt perfectly “safe” and would do it again!
We have been customers at WA Frost for a long time. I was curious how Covid would affect the experience of celebrating our anniversary on the back patio last week. There is a condensed menu however the choices are still good and the food was certainly up to snuff given the difficulties everyone is having running their businesses. W.A. Frost has the most beautiful patio in the Twin Cities, bar none. We have been going there for decades for special occasions. Sunday was no exception for my sister and her husband's 30th wedding anniversary. We had a gift certificate that we couldn't use with the app (contactless service), so the manager took our orders personally and treated us very well.
Loved the ambience. My caprese salad was tasteless so I brought it home and spiced it up. My friend had a BLT which she loved and our non alcoholic drinks were great. Not sure worth the cost but so nice to get out.
Social distancing and cleanliness were great. No touch ordering and payment, servers masked and distant as much as possible. Had the salmon with cous cous which was absolutely delicious. My husband had the steak etc and said his was great as well. Great experience and felt safe eating there during this pandemic. 1st time out to a restaurant since Covid started and feel we can return to WA Frost safely. Thanks for a great dining experience again.
