We also spent money for empty promises and lied to us! This is not a place I enjoyed and will not go back!
I previously commented on the lack of WiFi at Wally. Wanted to let everyone know the I was contacted by management and told that there should be WiFi available in the clubhouse this year. Possibly/Probably? free for members.
Sales people are great at their jobs! Sold us a lot of empty promises. Nice renovations but far from being family oriented. Loved the staff our first year, since then seems like they've been replaced by a bunch of kids. The park is nice but not worth the membership!
This is a nice campground, but since Travel Resorts of America bought it, they have raised the prices astronomically and want to make it a members only campground. This is not what this area needs. We started camping there in 2005 and were known regulars there until around 2012 when TRA took over. Now instead of a fun friendly family campground feel, it has the "corporate" feel. Horrible way to coerce people to buy a membership just to go camping somewhere nice.
