First time buying a house. Dave was great with information and helping me choose the right loan.
My wife and I can not say how wonderful it was to work with Dave Shelor. He was efficient, professional yet was open and friendly. When we became discouraged, Dave encouraged us and continued preserve working until we were approved for our loan. Using his expertise, knowledge and willingness to do everything on our behalf, my wife and I received our home loan. We can not express how much we appreciate Dave's efforts. As far as we are concerned, Dave went the extra mile giving 200% for us to achieve our goal of having a home.
We were impressed with the individual attention we received from our first meeting. Our financial situation was complicated and our needs very specific but David was able to make it all work! Purchasing a new home brings a lot of stressful decisions so working with someone we could trust was extremely important to us. He would be our first choice if we buy another home in the future!

We've followed Dave from a different mortgage company and he has helped us through several mortgages. Both times he was excellent and went above and beyond what I would consider great customer service. In fact, he visited my work and my home on the same day to get different signatures from my wife and I in order to make sure we closed on time. He's great.
Dave was extremely helpful, answering multiple questions about the property and the Blacksburg area, as we secured our loan on a tight schedule. He also shared many of his contacts who demonstrated their expertise as well as a professionalism equal to Dave's. Definitely a rewarding experience.
Dave always responded in a timely manor. He was very knowledgeable. He found the best financing option that worked with my needs. I will definitely recommend him in the future!
