These people have successfully took all the humanity out of renting a home, it's not the tenants duty to pay the consequences of an over leveraged company. I do not suggest this business as they will add excessive bills without telling you and take your security deposit, even if you kept things perfectly clean. My husband and I have rented from Welcome Home for the last 3 years. We moved in newly married and were excited about the new apartment. We are happy to be gone. We've never been late for rent, keep the unit in excellent condition, and are quiet neighbors. However this management has the audacity to charge for walk throughs in your unit. A nonrefundable carpet cleaning fee to move in, as well as to professionally clean the unit in order to leave. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered. MILES called me while I was at work to complain that I wasn’t watering the grass enough and was rude, unprofessional, sarcastic and jeering. I explained to him that we are new to the area, and have been taking care of it daily, including investing hundreds off dollars into planting more grass and watering it. We did go over and have a conversation with the other person at your home and he told us at the time that it was at least over a week and a half since he had put any water on the front yard, not the daily watering that you said. From our assessment the soil was extremely dry and didn't have any evidence of moisture which is why we called. welcome home properties staff are very professional business people, they charges us 1500 to clean the house after we left and we had left the home spotless, no damages at all, and when we asled fpe proof of what was so expensive to clean up they had no proof, the home was very nice and I was happy with welcome homes service other than this issue of scamming me out of a good chunk of change.
