If you need prescriptions, without a diagnosis, he's your man. Never been treated so poorly in my life by a "doctor?"!!! If you get to see him for 2 minutes, you are one of the lucky ones!!!
This guy is a nightmare. He runs his office like a factory assembly line. He saw me for 5 minutes at the most. He hands out meds like it's candy and doesn't tell you what they are for or warn you of the long-term (possibly permanent) cognitive side effects. He is intimidating and doesn't seem to care one bit about what the patient is going through. I saw him once, turned around and immediately found a new neuro. I may be on medicaid but I sure as hell deserve better than this.
He is the rudest doctor I have ever seen. Does not explainanything to you. Sees you for exactly 5 seconds and won't let you ask any questions. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. He should not be a doctor
I concur with the others in so much that mr patel was a very self centered uncaring escuse for an md,rude unpunctual, and very inconsistant.this being hia standard im surprised he stays in practice.
Billing was incorrect, staff untrained, and patients jammed too close together. Poor diagnosis and treatment of elderly patients in nursing homes especially.
Uncaring, rude egomaniac. Does not allow patients to ask questions. I was told by him,and I quote "I'm the doctor I ask the questions, YOU don't"!!!!! Well I'm the patient, not only do I have the right and responsibility to ask about my condition and treatment, but I pay the bills. If a patient isn't allowed to voice their symptoms and concerns how is the doctor supposed to make a knowledgeable diagnosis??? Office visits were a nightmare with a rude staff and the least amount of time that I spent waiting for a scheduled appoi... read more
When my daughter couldn't afford my 6 year-old granddaughter's seizure medication (there was a problem with the red-tape at Medicaid), she asked him if he could pre-authorize the medication or help in some way. He told her that "Medicaid does not pay me enough to do a preauthorization." I was with my daughter in the exam room at the time. He told her the price (over $100.00 per month) and said, "You'll just have to pay for it." I called AHCA and Medicaid and made a report.
very rude and unimformative,inconsistant treatment
