Been going here a few years. Always liked it. Last time they had a new vet who was very negative about the surgeon who had done surgery on my dog at another facility, even though he did not know the surgeon. (West Valley Veterinary didn't offer that surgery at the time my dog needed it done). This new vet even looked up the vet who did the surgery and his credentials. West Valley Clinic terrible service all they want is to get you to pay more for more services than you went there for. We took our 12 month old puppy to get a checkup, we thought it was a good idea to get our boy looked at. They didn’t know what to do, I guess we were the first patient that brought in their puppy for a first year checkup, the assistant said what do we want done, so they did nothing, didn’t even touch him, didn’t listen to his heart, I weighed him. the vet was good the tech was nice hell I even enjoyed the waiting room. What I didn’t like was being treated horrible by the manager when I questioned the extra extra fee I had come to terms with the $25 extra charge for the same day appointment which is so asinine have no words. Until they trotted out the breakdown and had a medical support fee for yet another $25 and a medical waste fee of $7. They took of the $7 wast fee but still charged me not $25 extra bit a grand total of $50 extra for deigning to go to their establi... read more

Everyone is so wonderful. When I had to work they let my Jack come in early and hang out, get his lab work and I was able to pick him up after work... And there was no additional charge. When we visited he gets lots of love an attention. Most important they always take the time to explain what they are doing and go over everything. THANK YOU

When I called I to make the appointment I told the lady on the phone I saw a promo for $25 PER animal for the first visit. When I go to check out they told me it was $101 I said no it should be $50 and the lady who talked to me on the phone said ya I am right that it was $25 PER animal. Then they get the manager I took my little girl to the bathroom came back and said sorry we can’t honor that it’s 101 I’m like you can’t honor your word you just said you saw the promo and they said nope sorry. I brought my dog in with a large gaping hole in his neck and all that was done was to charge me for a cone and anti biotics. The hole was not cleaned or anything done to it. I have to take him to another vet to have it stitched and $175 is a lot to pay for nothing. Would not recommend this business.

These guys are truly compassionate and care. I thought my dog was choking. I rushed him to Hinter Animal hospital. That was a mistake . They could care less to even come out and just look at him. They wanted to send me up to 10 th east. I then ran to these guys who have help us once before. They were on a lunch break. But with no hesitation came out to at least look in his mouth. He had a stick stuck at the roof of his mouth between his back teeth. The girls there were so kind. They help so much!!! I would absolutely trust ... read more
