If there was an option to give less stars, I would. I am extremely displeased with Westchase Veterinary. I came into my first appointment at Westchase Vet, with many questions for our new vet, Dr. Emily Barr. Dr. Barr left our first appointment before I even got to ask my questions, because she was pulled into an emergency. I tried to be understanding given I would want the same care shown if I ever needed these services, albeit quite frustrated. Basically paid $212 for nail clipping. My dog has been having urination issues and they keep tell her urine is diluted so they can't tell me anything....thanks for nothing.
Unfortunately, we have had disorganized and incompetent interactions with the entire staff during the last year, from not returning phone calls to not keeping accurate records of treatments to scheduling and charging for appointments that are not necessary. Would not recommend.
If I could pick a lesser than one star I would! The customer sevice at this veterinary clinic is horrible. Our dog was seen for a 7 yr old check up in March. Unknown to us, because the clinic never told us, nor bothered to follow up with a phone call, his kidney levels were getting out of range. We've left the clinic after being clients since it opened! I was told over the phone that may range up to $126.00. That sounded great. After the vet said we'll set up some package for you it ended up to be two hundred and fourteen dollars just for shots? I called another place and they said it wouldn't cost that much for certain shots. Not even for the heartworm test. So this place is a little bit too pricey.
