Recently moved to Westshore Flats during the move in process the leasing agent were helpful and professional which made the move easy for the renter. The apartment was clean and up to date. I did have a maintenance request which was resolved in less than 24hrs. Ty from the leasing office did a follow up with me to make sure the request was fixed. She was very attentive and kind. So far I’m very happy with Westshore Flats!!
If I could rate this place 0 I would! I lived here for two years. The walls are incredibly thin, Maintence is awful and the apartment is a wreck all together. My washer was broken for 6 months, I got tired of calling them because all they would do patch it up. The parking lot has not been fixed since I moved in. I moved out and returned my keys on the 24th of July. I have yet to hear anything from the company. Management answers the phone when they feel like it. STAY AWAY FROM MCKINLEY WEST SHORE FLATS ll. I do not recommend this horrible place on anyway and cannot wait to move out , there is roaches, worms, centipede, spiders, mold, crackheads shooting up by the pool, car break ins, horrible management, they go in your apartment when you tell them no entry unless you’re there etc, living here has been living hell and I don’t wish it upon anyone , I also added my friend who also lived here, his email thread to show it is not any better anywhere you live in this complex, I was too p... read more
I have lived with my mom growing up with McKinley properties, and now I'm a happy adult that was able to get my 1st apartment with McKinley as well. Thankfully they are affordable and don't require outrageous unrealistic income verifications. As a young adult getting my 1st jobs and first apartment, I'm very thankful and blessed to say in these times there is still a company that's treats us fair with realistic verification requirements. A true hidden gem. Very affordable living in a calm, safe and quiet location. They are pet friendly and very accommodating to my family with children whom have special needs. Living here has been nothing but great memories at the pool and Gandy Beach. My neighbors were great , friendly , comforting and protective. My children were able to be kids and play in our community freely. The environment has been a blessing coming new to the Tampa area not having family or friends close by.
