I’ve lived here for about 3 years now. The previous management was great to me for the most part and really kept up with the community. However, a new company took over the complex about 3-4 months ago right before hurricane helene and Milton and it’s been a train wreck. All maintenance orders have been a disaster with no communication whatsoever. I've been here over a year. I really like the apartment, the area but my issue is the ceilings above my head. I can hear every footstep, stomp, door slam, conversation and this is early in the morning, all throughout the day and night. It's traumatizing and torturous!!!! I've complained about this before. I also have recordings of it because I'm fed up. The floors for the above neighbors need to be padded for sound proof. If I could rate this place 0 I would! I lived here for two years. The walls are incredibly thin, Maintence is awful and the apartment is a wreck all together. My washer was broken for 6 months, I got tired of calling them because all they would do patch it up. The parking lot has not been fixed since I moved in. I moved out and returned my keys on the 24th of July. I have yet to hear anything from the company. Management answers the phone when they feel like it. I'm not a tenant, I'm an electrician. I left a tool behind, the next time I went I asked the maintenance guy if he found it. He hadn't but immediately went to check and returned it. This says a ton about how they're going to deal with their tenants. Honesty and integrity mean everything.
When we first visited our friends there, the green space and surrounding landscape was plush and healthy. Now, it is full of weeds & ruts and has not been watered. Next year, there is going to be no grass at all. It needs pre-emergent and aeration. The slate rocks are everywhere on the lawns. No annual flowers planted or pine straw filled in. The new management company has ruined what the original developer started. What a shame.
