Somehow I didn't know about Westville but I was pleasantly surprised. The brunch was not only tasty, but also healthy. The California benedict was a twist on the classic eggs Benedict but it honestly tasted better to me than the traditional classic eggs benedict. Instead of an English muffin, it comes with a crispy potato cake. Also beware the blended mint lemonade is more like a slushie and not like a liquidy lemonade with mint like I had thought. It was still good but just not what I expected.
I love the food at westville. Especially the market sides. Veggies taste so good! Casual, quick and healthy. Why did you take the quinoa burger off the menu though i literally come half as often now because that was my go to. I guess it wasn't popular enough though.
So I do love westville very much, love the salads here my take out is always perfect! I went for the first time in person last night, it was overall a pretty good experience. My salad came out without salmon and without the dressing. My waitress was extremely accommodating I wish I knew her name so I could give her credit. Other than that the food is always very good and comes out very quick.
Ordered a burger and fries for delivery. Food was tasty, no major complaints. However, they charged extra an extra $1 for tomato, which typically I would expect to be included on a burger from a restaurant. Nonetheless, I paid the extra, and when my food arrived I was greeted with one tiny slice of tomato. I understand times are tough and places are charging extra for the basics, but it's ridiculous to just blatantly rip people off. $1 for a bite sized slice of tomato is a joke. It says a lot about a restaurant when they nic... read more

Hi Jared, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. First of all we are happy to hear your food was tasty! You are absolutely right, we agree that adding tomato to a burger is basic and should not be charged extra. We found that this was a glitch in out Grubhub\Seamless menu that occurred while updating it last week. It is fixed now thanks to you bringing it up to our attention. We appreciate your feedback and would love to give you some credit for your next order. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at shai@... read more
This restaurant is arguably the biggest point of contention in my relationship. My gf admittedly loves it. It makes me question if she has taste. The food just kinda stinks? For a place predicated on their market bowl, the vegetables are bad. They all taste like they were cooked ahead of time and kept in a warming drawer, served lukewarm and soggy. The burger is solid and I enjoyed the artichoke veggie burger, but the portions are small. The space is uncomfortably tight and the service isn't particularly warm. And not in an ... read more

Hi Ben, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We want you to know that your feedback is important. Thanks again for your honesty and please stop by again soon (with your gf (-;)!
Overall, my friend and I had a great experience at Westville in the East Village and I highly recommend trying out this location. We had brunch on a Sunday afternoon and the food was delightful. I had the California benedict which was amazing. The homemade hash browns were life-changing. Trust me. My friend had the Southwestern Brunch Bowl which she said was good but bland, though she ordered it without bacon which could explain that. The reason I am not giving the place 5 stars is because of the check-in process. We had a... read more
As a vegetarian, I appreciate all of the options here. The food is good and they have a great variety for non-vegetarians as well. The service was a little slow but understandable since they were so busy. It's a great restaurant if you're looking for a cozy and casual place for a good meal.
Westville East will not let you down. Their ONLY flaw (hence the 4 star rating) is that they don't have liquor so their margaritas and what not are made with sake. I still like them though! However, if youre in the mood for cocktails, this might not be your spot. But in terms of healthy delicious food, they are the best!!
For some reason, I'd known of and passed by Westville many times in the past few years before deciding to give it a go. I've been twice in the last 30 days, though, and I brought a friend, if that tells you how quickly my introduction to it has blossomed a certain fondness. Westville East is located conveniently close to Tompkins Square Park and has outdoor seating I'd recommend taking advantage of before winter. The lunch and dinner menus (those I've tried thus far) feature fresh produce and a rather wide variety of choice... read more
