We had a lovely lunch. Place does not look like much from the outside. We went in based on the positive ratings. The food was great. The service was sooooo friendly. Almost Southern hospitality.

This is a reliably good place for a meal after a movie at the Film Forum. It is wonderful to have a variety of vegan and vegetarian choices, not just a token item on an otherwise carnivore menu.
We hadn’t been to a Westville in a while and I had forgotten how vegetable-forward the menu is. I’m a total carnivore, but when I saw ALL the vegetable options, I ended up getting a Market Plate, which is a choice of four of any of the featured vegetables on the menu. Went for lunch, I reserved in advance, sat down very quickly. Ordered and the food came right away. I had a chicken parm sandwich with a salad. It would've been nice if I was offered salad dressing, but it was ok. I was on lunch break so I ate fast, drank a beer and left. Good overall experience.
Westville is amazing. Fantastic brunch. Great staff. Love it here.
I have been to several branches of Westville, and always find the food great. But at Westville Hudson, the great food is enhanced by the friendly and helpful staff, who provide wonderfully attentive but non-intrusive service.
Service and food is always wonderful at the Hudson street location! One of my favorite restaurants.
Tables placed far enough apart; noise level low; good food at a reasonably priced; good service.
