Westville's concept is great and the food (especially the wide array of veggies) is undeniably fresh and tasty. But the combination of a very noisy room (making it hard to hear even the person right next to you), so-so service and quite uncomfortable chairs, makes a visit here a less than stellar dining experience. Definitely don't go to catch up with friends, as we did, because you'll have a hard time hearing and being heard.
I had a 12 pm reservation for 11 but only three of us arrived on time .. We waited at the bar and when 4 more of our party came we were seated. The staff was very accommodating and patient with us .. It was 45 min before our whole party arrived.. Blame city summer traffic and road accidents! Food and drink was good for picky kids and adventurous adults alike .. Can't cool on a very hot day. Highly recommend.
I'm not a vegetarian but always get the mixed veggie plate there, and they never fail to please :) the food is so fresh and dinner is amazing for its value.
The food was really nice. The Mexican Mac n cheese was spiced just right. The chorizo tasted more like andouille but it fit the flavor profile. The choices of fresh vegetables and salads were great. It was a hot humid night but we were freezing in the restaurant. It was also so loud that it was difficult to carry on a conversation.
Fabulous spot for dinner before City Winery show. They have great performers, but sub par food. Westville new goto before CW shows.
This place and food are consistently reliable and reliably consistent. Only once was the service too slow. I can always recommend Westville without hesitation.
Have eaten here several times, each time I had a good meal and pleasant service. Will go back again
Exceptional service and very accommodating for large groups. Fresh, fantastic, healthy food. Perfect for vegans, but everyone will go home satisfied.
Perfect service as always. Got the hanger steak bowl and quinoa burger, both were delicious. Parmesan truffle fries were also incredible!
