A large group of us came in for the birthday of one of our friends. Right from the start we were well taken care of. While we waited for more in our party to arrive, we hung out at the bar and enjoyed the happy hour. The staff was even willing to seat us without absolutely everyone in our party being present (which sometimes I get grumpy about because people get delayed, it happens, and restaurants often have attitude about it). I went here on a date with my girlfriend and loved the experience. Food was very good. Her steak was delicious, my breaded chicken tasted more like chicken tenders than the chicken cutlet i was hoping for, but was still good. The options of the vegetables sides were really what drew me in. I tried the sweet potato tots which were great and the zucchini mozzarella and tomato was warm with the cheese melting throughout, which was great. Solid drink options. Servers were friendly and accommodating.
Ate here prior to a show at City Winery which is a short walk away. Friday nights are always busy and on the noisy side, so reservations are recommended. The food choices are outstanding; you can eat as healthy as you want, and the portion sizes are great. Nice Happy Hour specials as well and friendly service. We always eat here when we're going to City Winery.
Best sweet potato fries and the most delicious salads. Easy atmosphere and great food.
I've been to Westville Hudson so many times I've lost count. I try to go whenever I'm in the area because the food is always fresh, they have interesting specials, and the staff is always friendly.
I went here for a business lunch, as always it gets packed for lunch as there are few sit down options (even in Manhattan there are some culinary dry spots) to chose from. Service was fine but the food was disappointing compared to other times Ive been, slipped a notch. Pleasant spot for a birthday dinner, market plate of vegetables was really good and enjoyed thenwine as well!
We both ordered the steak sandwiches and while one was delicious, the other was 4 slices of grizzle and fat between two pieces of bread. The waitress initially shrugged her shoulders and said, "it's hard to know what youre gonna get with steak." Whaatt? I explained that when someone cuts food they're supposed to look at the food so this doesn't happen. And that I wanted the manager to see it. I have to admit they did the right thing by taking it off the bill, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. It's a comfort food restaurant but provides a great atmosphere for you to eat the food in. I am definitely going back.
