I have used Williams Carpet in Okemos for carpet replacement in several rooms of my home. A family-owned local company, they have a wide assortment of choices (hard floors as well), and some of the most beautiful wool carpets I’ve seen anywhere. The staff, from the owner to the sales staff to the installer, are knowledgeable, friendly and stand behind their products. So in 2018 we had a new kitchen done and had Willams Carpet do the install on the new floor. We paid a lot extra to have the existing floors leveled and set up properly, and get the floor we wanted. We were told “we would get sick of it before we have any issues” Now just 3 years later the floor is already falling apart! We have had them out a couple of times and we’re told “nothing we can do, it’s bad clips from the manufacture of the floor” they came out and added silicone to it so it would stay together a few months ago... read more
Update 9/17/21: It took awhile as everything is during these days but THANK YOU Williams Carpet for stepping up and replacing our flooring at your cost. It looks beautiful and the installers were so much better to work with than the original crew. Our salesperson, Jim, was there daily to check on things and we appreciate it.
