I booked a reservation 3 months ago, and I received an email from Jim that he messed up and that day was no longer available. We were only in Sedona one day, so I had to get a refund through Groupon for Groupon Bucks (not ideal). Overall, I would avoid using this tour company and go with someone accountable like Pink Jeep Tour.

Business response:

Hi Adam, your feedback has been noted. At Wine Tours of Sedona, we strive to offer our customers extraordinary wine tours every time. Your feedback is very much appreciated as helps us improve our systems to offer a better wine tasting experience to our future customers. Thank you kindly.

The owner Jim was very unprofessional and impolite over the phone. ( Once you can actually get ahold of him. ) He called and left a voicemail 3 days before we were supposed to be picked up for our wine tour to see if we could possibly reschedule. While being caught up with work I wasn't able to return the call till the next day, when of course no one answered, so I left a voicemail asking for a call back (which never happened). I kept calling both phone numbers listed when finally after several attempts, and three voicemails... read more

Business response:

Brandon, I am very sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience with my company, and that I was unable to even get you on the tour that you booked. Using Groupon was a big mistake for me, and my company. I am not saying this to justify my wrong doings. I admit I made a big mistake. The fact of the matter it that Groupon flooded us with calls, inquires, and tours, much more so than I was able to handle because my business model is actually based on private tours to each individual group. The reason you were unable to get... read more

I recently had email conversations with Jim Reich and found it very confusing why he would offer a deal via Amazon Deals for a scenic tour and wine tasting to only put in his stipulations that if there are not 8 on the tour then I was responsible for my own wine tasting. That would have been an additional $120 for my group that I had already paid for in the initial deal. The following is the correspondence between Jim Reich and myself. I told him in my email I wasn't going to put a negative review, but he chose to contin... read more

If you are looking for an off road Sedona adventure, this is not the tour for you. If you are looking to see the general sites and points of interest of the area this may fit the bill. They are challenged to accommodate all requests because they are a 1-person operation. Other companies in the area have multiple guides and vehicles. Be sure you bring plenty of cash to tip your guide (at least 20% of the full cost) or you will receive a lengthy and punitive email from their "not so silent" silent partner afterward. I would no... read more

Business response:

Stuart, we are sorry you didn't enjoy your experience with us. I will do my best to address all your points. In looking back at our notes, you discovered us through Groupon. All of our Groupon promotions, as well as our websites, and online brochures clearly state that tours are conducted in "fully enclosed climate controlled tour vehicles" not open air Jeeps. We do not offer off road tours, nor do we utilize open air Jeeps and if that is what you were expecting, I suggest you read the fine print when using services like Gro... read more

A complete waste of time...We were led to belive it would be a jeep tour and he pulls up in a passenger van that was dirty inside and out and full of dog hair...Save your $$$$ you can see the same sites just driving around

Business response:

James, I apologize that you didn't enjoy your experience with my company. I'm very sorry that you were led to believe that your tour was going to be in a Jeep, for we haven't offered Jeep tours since about 2010. Although we do clean our van on a regular basis, all of our tours are dog friendly, so there is sometimes some residual hair in the van. I do appreciate your feedback, even though it is negative, it helps me learn and grow, and offer better tours for future clients.
