We recently took a wine tour to historic Jerome outside of Sedona. When booking the tour it asks if you want to add on a meal, so we did and had a tour from 11-3pm on a Saturday with lunch added. Nobody from the company reached out other than to rebook us under a cheaper rate b/c we had more than 6 in our party, which was great. The unfortunate part is that 4 hours in Jerome (from Sedona) with lunch is not enough time. We were able to rush through 2 tastings, and not able to have our 3rd. Jerome is very busy on a Saturd... read more

Business response:

Thank you so much, Anna, for sharing your experience—we genuinely appreciate your feedback. We’re glad we were able to offer your group a better rate for having more than six guests, and that you chose to spend part of your Sedona getaway exploring historic Jerome wine country with us. That said, we’re truly sorry to hear that the timing of your tour didn’t meet expectations. Saturdays in Jerome can indeed be bustling, and you’re absolutely right—lunch waits and busy tasting rooms can impact the overall flow of a tour, espe... read more

I booked this wine tasting experience mainly for my daughter who had never been to any vineyards and wanted to learn more about wine, etc. Our tour was from 11:00 AM until 2:00PM. Unfortunately, our tour ran over about 1 hr. not from us but from Jim talking to every person he saw whether it was in the Chocolate store (1st stop)or at the two (2) vineyards. He was buying candy for previous customers of his and bottle of wine for a friend he saw at one of the vineyards. If you are the tour guide and there is a time limit for... read more

My wife booked what we thought was going to be our first ever wine tasting experience for my birthday. Unfortunately, it went a little sideways. We are in our 30s, and not big partyers, but were greeting to blaring techno music. This was changed when we asked. When asked what we were looking for on the tour, we said we wanted to see some outdoor vineyards, learn more about different types of wine, and have a nice dinner. We had two unplanned stops on the way, which burnt time. We were then informed that the outdoor winerie... read more

If I could leave a negative star review I would. Sent my wife any 13 of her friends for a tour. 275 per person Jimmie the owner claims to have done this for 16 years took them to 4 bars no winery's no scenic views then the chocolate tasting was a cbd chocolate store. Poor manors and poor hygiene all added to a big disappointment Asked for 1/2 our money back and they refused only offering 500 credit This tour was 3800 dollars. Worst day ever.

I deeply regret booking with Wine Tours of Sedona. Jim Reich is a despicable scam artist with very questionable character. He offered a complimentary wine tour to my bachelorette group in exchange for tags and posts on our social media pages. Apparently the 5+ timeline posts and numerous story tags were not enough to satisfy him and he tried pushing through a $1,350 charge to my credit card. Luckily I have our initial agreement in writing and multiple witnesses on my side. We each had already paid $200 in wine tastings as we... read more

This was a very overpriced ride in a dirty old van. It does not include anything but the ride. Cottonwood is a nice old town. Go and explore on your own and you could buy plenty of bottles of wine with the money saved by driving yourself. We had only enough time to do two tastings and visit the olive oil store. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Business response:

I appreciate your review Andrea. I hear you and have done what was necessary to offer a better tour to my customers. Our old van has been replaced and we have since upgraded our to a 2017 Ford Transit that is extremely clean, offers captains chairs throughout, with head rests, full shoulder seat belts for safety, and a much more comfortable riding experience. We feel that with the new van, customers can get a much better tour experience. Thank you for your feedback.

I recently experienced a 5 hour "Wine your way" tour with Jim. He was friendly, and let me and my two friends know many times that he would do whatever it took to make it an enjoyable experience. On the website, it stated that during this 5 hour time frame we would visit 3-4 wineries, which is why we chose this specific adventure. We discussed our plans with Jim, and what we wanted out of our tour several times, but frankly it came up short. In the 5 hours we were taken to 1 tasting room and 1 vineyard. (For what it is wort... read more

This is the most expensive glorified taxi ride I have taken. The "wine tour" consisted of taking a nauseating, uncomfortable van ride to tasting rooms (not even to actual vineyards) where we had to pay even more money to taste wines and eat snacks. We could have used a designated driver and driven ourselves to the tasting rooms for a lot less money. I think the "host" shared information about the area as he drove but we couldn't hear him in the back of the van. This was a very high price to pay for the "pleasure" of this gu... read more

I am so sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience with me Diane. I'm not sure what went wrong, but based on your feedback, I deeply apologize that you didn't have an exceptional time. We do offer two types of wine tours, those that do include wine tastings, and those that give you the flexibility to pay as you go. I am sorry if this wasn't clear when you made your reservation. Based on your comments, I think your tour was during a period that we were experimenting with using Groupon so that is why we were likely unable to ... read more

My two coworkers and I scheduled a Wine Tour of Sedona and we weren't that impressed. Working in the catering business we have pretty high expectations for wine tours, but when you are paying a lot of money for this you should have high expectations. If you are wondering about this tour, just know, nothing is included with the tour cost. You are basically paying for a chauffeur that knows the area as much as any local does. We first identified that nothing was going to be included when he took us on a chocolate "tour". This ... read more
