I have only been a tenet at Jefferson Landing for a month as of 9/15/2025. I have put in 9 different work orders starting from 8/20/2025 and they kept being marked completed and they were not being completed. These were issues that I moved into the apartment and noticed during the initial walk thru. Winter wood did not honor what they told me. I was without heat Thanksgiving night -December 19, 2024. Markie from the office told me to pay my full rent & corporate would deduct the difference from my electric bill. I had 2 bedroom & was bought over numerous small heaters to heat my apartment. I live in overlook in Georgetown KY. Winterwood Inc owns these apartments. I've lived here among 4 years and have section 8. Domestic violence helped me get section 8. I've never been behind on rent since I've lived here. They have changed management few times the ones they had from past several months doesn't know what there doing. The manager told me I didn't owe rent for January 2025 . Then I get 7 days notice twice since then. This company is discriminatory. They purposely forge documents and direct applicants to falsely complete forms as a means of taking advantage of governments funds while simultaneously responding to any complaints towards them with litigation and take advantage of people from low-resource backgrounds who fear being told that they did something wrong for trying to stand up for themselves or demand that this company do as they are legally and contractually obligated. Winterwood bought out the owners of Sunrise Apartments at Salem Kentucky, well as of January of this year my heating & air unit went out the first night it got down way below freezing & they brought 3 little heaters down that runs my electric bill skyhigh & I was told after 2 wks that it was ordered well that was a lie & they sent another company out to look at it said I have to have a whole new unit so that was ordered no that was a lie again that Manager quit, So now we have a new apartment manager she said it has to be ap... read more
Terrible management! You received conflicting information depending on what day of the week it is. Do not blame on site managers because they don't stay very long and all they can do is what corporate tells them to do. Can hardly get any maintenance done. Apartments are terrible inside and out. I am currently a renter at one of the Winterwood Inc., properties and have been since 2020. I am currently dealing with an air unit outage and it’s going on day 4 as of today. The unit went out Saturday, which was 05/04/2024 and it was 88 degrees that day. When me and my two children returned home that night it was a complete nightmare. Refused to accept my full payment and force me and my pet dog out of my home with a week before my birthday and as I started a well paying job my health issues caused me to get behind on bills a little bit and I was misjudged as if I was a criminal or their.
