Established in 1983. It was 1977 when Chuck Woodstock opened the first Woodstock's Pizza near Oregon State in Corvallis, Oregon. His goal was to create a fun, student oriented pizzeria that dished up amazing pies using his grandmother's marinara recipe. From the beginning he focused on fresh, hand-tossed dough with a unique folded-over crust with sauce inside. Pizza is excellent, cost not so much. When I need a pizza delivered, though, Woodstock's is my go to restaurant as my first preference doesn't deliver.

RecommendedI usually love Woodstocks, but the pizza delivered to me this weekend was not what I ordered at all. I ordered a half for me with vegetable primavera and vegan cheese. The pizza delivered had regular cheese, no artichokes, no broccoli, and added chicken. Me and my vegan friend couldn't eat it at all. :/ Edited Later: Woodstocks contacted me and gave me a free pizza after confirming the order. I am totally down with the wheat crust. Husband not so much. Both are outstanding. Ingredients, fresh. Yummers! I appreciate the history the most. It’s a good read, and part of our memories as well. 💕
