Established in 1983. It was 1977 when Chuck Woodstock opened the first Woodstock's Pizza near Oregon State in Corvallis, Oregon. His goal was to create a fun, student oriented pizzeria that dished up amazing pies using his grandmother's marinara recipe. From the beginning he focused on fresh, hand-tossed dough with a unique folded-over crust with sauce inside. Ok. So I eat a lot of pizza...and I've been in Chico forever. I love Mountain Mikes. I love Round Table. I love Farm Star. I love Celestino's. I love Pop's. I've never met a pizza I didn't love. But damn! There is NOTHING like Woodstock's!! Sauce in the crust?? What?? Not only the best pizza in Chico, it's the best pizza anywhere!! Excellent service and excellent pizza. The girl at the register was very patient and offered sample tasting of beer since we were new and not sure which beer to order.

One of my favorite places in Chico to eat Pizza. Gluten free and vegan friendly is also a nice option
