This was an enjoyable experience for myself. I can honestly say that I was able to balance being a stay at home mom and school at the same time. It was indeed a challenge, but I showed up for myself and proved that I can do it. The mentors were 100% there when needed, they were friendly and very helpful. I'm so excited and I recommend Southern Careers Institute to whomever wants to change their lives by gaining a education/skills.

I participated as a student under the CoderCamps banner. The instructor (Jesse) was great and really responded well to the pacing that would best-suit the class. I knew how to bash JavaScript together, but the bootcamp got me recent with Git and gave me a solid foundation for toolchain/package management in the JS ecosystem. You will get out of this what you put into it. I would go home every night and push on code from about 8pm to 3am, get up at 6am, and do it all over again. Fast-forward to today, six years later.
