Woz U gave me an opportunity to use the creativity that I use as a musician to learn to program, and opportunities to collaborate with other people. Now I have two passions, music and programming.

Admissions made the process to enroll easy to understand. While time needs to be set aside to complete coursework, you can learn at your own pace. Working on the final project as a group was a struggle at first, but we adapted to it and at the end we were able to deliver the project on time. We developed a restaurant app using a variety of technologies including React, jQuery, Bootstrap, Mongoose, PushJS, Git-Hub, and more. I met wonderful people in this program that I got a chance to work with. We developed a web-based application as our final group project. We decided to develop a game app. We used Visual Studio Code, JavaScript, and C Sharp. We used asp.net core for the backend and Google Maps API for the character to travel the world. I learned agile scrum development, javascript, app development, and so much more. I worked with a team and developed an application by applying the things I learned in the Woz U courses. At times it was a struggle, but I made it through and was offered and accepted a job with an IT solutions firm. It's all about finding a good flock of people, and Woz U has been the flock that I was looking for and they helped me get through this program.
The layout is easy to understand. I am excited to start this program.

I’ve been involved within the tech industry for the last 6 years. I’ve worked in digital marketing, content curation, and graphic design. I wanted to further my skills by learning software development. I’m excited to see where my new skills set takes me.
