I am grateful to have been in this course, however what I really wanted to learn in this course "Ionic/Angular" was a disappointment and I have had to purchase Udemy courses to learn what I thought I was going to learn here. I understand that coding is an ongoing learning experience and this is just a overview course but I expected to learn better than the way parts of this program was presented.
Overall I've had a very positive experience at WozU, the mentors are always available to help the students. WozU has prepared me for the working world.
A few days after I graduated (1/2019) I got offered a job in a related field from a company close by my home.
Class helped me move fwd in my career which had stagnated due to what I was doing work wise. Helped me also gain confidence in moving fwd. Allowed me to leverage a very long engineering career into more current skills. I will say I think that the curriculum could be helped by some more engineering based discipline. What I see in the world today is people who can program using a bunch of frameworks but lake the computer science skills to be even more effective. Anybody can write code.
