Why is Federal Hill Mortgage making it so difficult to get to closing on my seller's property nearly 2 weeks after the original settlement date? After a nearly 2 week extension from the original settlement date because the appraisal wasn't ordered in a timely fashion, we just learned that settlement, re-scheduled for tomorrow, is not going to happen. We have been informed there are no problems with the loan. Apparently the additional delay is due to "longer than normal processing time." Really??? Are they not prioritizing se... read more
