I mean I love Hugos. It's very casual diner style hearty portions of healthy meals. Not fancy, relaxed. I enjoyed the vegan "chicken" sandwich today with butternut squash soup, and my husband enjoyed the salmon tacos. Satisfied customers, as on my previous visits.

We were vacationing in the area and also meeting a California Yelp sweetie pie we all adore. I searched on Yelp, because my family's diet restrictions, a safe place for my family to eat. I called ahead, and they were so kind to answer my questions. I knew I could at least enjoy a salad. Luckily, our friend also was a big fan of Hugo's! I love that use all high quality ingredients. Most of their items are organic and they don't use seed oils. They use olive oil. They have Himalayan sea salt in their shakers at the table. I ordered a chamomile tea and they used whole flowers in a French press not from a teabag. They have tons of good vegan options! I had the make your own scramble with tofu and veggies. I tried a side of their veggie bacon that they make in house. So good!

Ah yeah great place to day drink. Feels like an old school stuffy dennys in there or something. In a good way. Big menu too. Lots of veggie and vegan options. Decent food, something for anyone.

It's hard to find quality and consistency consistently but at a few treasures. Hugo's was great when I was in school, when I went there with colleagues, took my kids and their friends... and it stayed great through not just the years, but also the occasions as well look forward toward retirement... not quite there yet... but it's getting close! WOW!

Had a wonderful meal and visit. This time we sat in the patio, which wasn't as loud as the inside. Overhead fans kept the temperature comfortable. My friend is vegan, and there was a huge amount of choices. The service was outstanding. Happy to recommend this place.

We go to Hugo's every month or so. The food has always been good. Tonight, I had the turkey meatloaf, which was as tasty as always. I might be wrong; however, the portion size seemed smaller than the last time I ordered the turkey meatloaf. My other had her general go to: the veggie burger. Our local go-to for sure! Large menu which is so extremely vegan-friendly, wonderful staff, lively atmosphere and delicious food which is creative and comforting. If you want a filling, healthy beautiful meal, Hugo's is our place to enjoy with a group of friends and family or just the two of us. We very much appreciate all the vegan options and that the kitchen will modify almost anything graciously and happily. Lovely happy hour. Great breakfast burrito in the am. Great servers and hosts both times. Our dinner server made beautiful recs for both wine and food. Chill vibes while still upholding a professional, clean, "we care" atmosphere. We will be back. Everything I could want from a place like this. So happy Hugo's exists.
