Quality Works as should - little pricey
Works Fine So Far I've had this for about a month now. I have a variable speed pump that runs at 3000 RPM for 2 hours, then 2 hours at 1400 RPM and then 1300 RPM for 10 hours. I also have a dedicated suction port in addition to the skimmer. I have it connected to the suction port and also purchased a Zodiac Leaf Canister since I want to prevent larger pieces of debris to go directly to the pump and the filter. It’s almost perfect! I really like this pump and it works very well, for the most part. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because it does tend to get stuck on my stairs and will sometimes sit in the same spot for hours. Otherwise, the pump is a beast and at a really great price.
For me it gets no better......... I had to copy Scott's review headline. I totally agree with him. It has been a game changer for me. When we built our pool they wanted $6500 extra for a dedicated Polaris pool cleaner.(runs on a separate pump). I declined at the time and had regrets. Since this was a larger pool than what they normally build, they did not install enough pool jets. I have what my dad refers to as dead spots. Too soon to tell Assembly instructions very confusing and not clear. No user manual with purchase.I have not used in the pool yet, so cannot comment on cleaning performance.
Good sweeper however hoses split after 8 months Been using now for 8 months and it does a good job of picking up debris. Even though its track is random, it does end up covering the whole pool.A negative is the quality of the hoses. Two hose sections near the cleaning head have split I did have two hoses left over to replace them, but it looks like in 8 months or so, I will have to buy some replacements.
Barry-Cuda III This is the third barracuda I have had in 23 years. Each model is basically the same, but with minor improvements and functionality and ease of use.
What Instructions could have been better wasted time trying to figure outmeanings
PRICE It worked fine for the first 6 months but then It stopped moving, and today I don't know what to do
