Buy this! This is the best vacuum for the pool that we have ever had! No problems at all. Definitely get the leaf catcher. We have a 15x40 pool with a vinyl liner. Saved us many hours of pool maintenance. Great product.
Well worth the money. 10 times better than my original one and 10 times better than the one my pool guy got for my pool. Within a day or two my pool looked better than it ever had. I should have gotten this sooner. If you have palms around the pool you have to watch out though; the large seeds can get caught if still attached to a portion of the stem and form a clump that blocks the sweep. Not like an Algae eater but good enough It definitely cleans the bottom, just not much higher than 3 inches off the bottom and definitely won’t do steps
Great Pool Cleaner, Great Price This pool cleaner has worked great. We had a more expensive unit from the original install of the pool (Hayward?), although is worked well the past few years were less than stellar. I read a lot of reviews for this unit and decided to give it a try. We have been very pleased with it, and find that it cleans much better and covered more surfaces than the old unit. This things crawls the walls and steps, which our old unit did not. We are impressed!
Well made and the cost is reasonable. The barracuda does an excellent job, I'm on my third one in over twenty five years. Would not buy anything else.
Great value for the cost I bought this cleaner on Amazon almost four years ago, and it is still chugging away. I love this little thing! Here are a couple of tips and tricks I have learned. 1. Make sure to set up the hoses as the directions say. 2. You will need to replace the diaphragm about once every 18 months OR when the cleaner sucks up a sweet gum ball or small branch that perforates the side.
