Cleans better than other models This is a quality unit, includes hoses and all fittings necessary. Adapters are a little oversize and require some pushing to make contact, else assembly is easy and done in a short time. This unit cleans much better than the "Pool Cleaner". It makes use of a turbine wheel to enhance the suction. Only downside is it has trouble getting over the suction drain fittings at the bottom of the pool. Else I really like this product and it's half the price of anything named Hayward.
Surprisingly good I’ve loved this little guy for the past year but lately it seems like all it wants to do is rise up out of the pool and do the sides of the pool. Can’t get it to vacuum the bottom and quit coming out of the water sucking in air... if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. There seems to be no adjustments to be made??

Great vacuum but it doesn’t come with a hose basket The vacuum works very well. I didn’t like that it didn’t come with a hose basket so I was forced to use my current hose basket which is white. The vacuum hose is blue. It works great but looks silly with two different hose colors. I’ll be spending more on a basket.

Worth it Now that I realized how to turn off the main drain to add suction this is moving even faster. The fact that the tube comes in pieces is awesome for storage. No super long hose to try and wrap up. Sometimes you need to have something or someone to delegate to so you can take care of other chores . Good buy for the money

The spinning Zodiac vac The Zodiac was purchased to replace an aging Kreepy Krauly. On the plus side, the cost of the Zodiac was reasonable, assembly of the hoses was easy, and adjustment of the pressure was also an easy process. I'm not sure about the down side. It could just be that the Zodiac works so differently than the Kreepy (and I've had 2 Kreepys over the past 25 years). The Zodiac often just turns around and around without seeming to propel forward. Works great to clean my 18'x36' in ground pool. This little guy (its quite small) works great to clean my pool. I no longer have to spend 45 mins to clean it manually. It even climbs the walls. It does get caught up in the hanging pool stairs in the deep end (so I remove them) and it does tend to miss spots, especially if you watch it. Other than those two things, I love the MX6. You do need at least a 1hp pool pump so it operates correctly.
