Better than I could have hoped for. It's replacing The Poolcleaner 2 wheel suction cleaner. Even though the Zodiac cost less, it works way better! Suction power is way better than I could have hoped for. It has suction on the side as well as the bottom. It moves like nobody's business and cleans the entire diving pool in one night. It works with different speeds of our pool and I love how the hose interconnects. It does the steps with no problem. The old cleaner could not do the steps. My New Pool Boy~ I had a hand held battery vac that would go dead on the last quarter of our 20x40 pool. I wanted something that I didn't have to worry with and after reviewing the various kinds of pool cleaners, decided the suction glide was more dependable than the robotic for us. Does great but then stops for no real reason (nothing stuck in the drive system) So I am pretty disappointed in this. I really wanted this work work well. I think it mostly does (when it works). Setup was easy, mostly plug and play, made sure your suction is high enough (10 wheel rotations in 20 seconds) then let it go. The issue is, this will just stop moving. I wanted to love this so much but it has a glaring achilles heal in palm tree threads.... I was tired of investing 100+ in new parts in my HAYWARD NAVIGATOR every new pool season and really loved the reviews of this. I even saw a review with huge leaves and rocks not being a problem. But sadly I have had this thing in the pool 2 out 4 days I have had to go over and remove a Jams on tiny 4-5 inch palm threads (stems?). Might have gotten a lemon It works then stops, my professional pool person is trying to get it to work better as he recommended this cleaner and has maintained my pool since it was completed in late 2019. I hope he can get it back to top form as the suction power is awesome when working properly. I always had a different brand that lasted for years! Only months does not make me happy. It might be a lemon. I hope my guy can get it back in shape and keep it that way!

Awesome Wish I had bought this last year. Takes all the work out of maintaining a clean pool from debris on the bottom and sides.

Works perfectly Almost a year in of daily use and this pool cleaner works fantastically. Once the suction is dialed in, it scoots on the bottom at a good clip. I can't remember any time I had to fish it out because it clogged, never has. I had a Navigator before this and it would jam up often with any kind of large debris or pebbles. The tracks are slightly worn after a year of running on the bottom of a gunite pool, but should be expected. Replacement tracks are $12 so no big deal to replace when the time comes.
