Love this little guy Love this little guy. I have a 15,000 sq foot bean shaped pool and this unit is just about the right size for it (probably would have needed the MX8 if the pool was any bigger. Interlocking hoses seem to be ok, no air being sucked in and not disconnecting. Set up was pretty straight forward although I did find a youtube video that explained things better than the instructions. Unit itself seems well built and the tracks have no problems navigating around the pool floor and walls.

It's working great for our ~15,000 gallon concrete pool I've been quite pleasantly surprised with this little guy --- has really been doing a good job for us in the two months since purchase. I had previously used the navigator brand and also various iterations of the kreepy krauley-style cleaner. The navigator works great but required routine replacement parts and served as a great source of frustration for me. Works great everywhere but the corners by the steps Works great everywhere but the corners by the steps, It gets stuck there and then just sits. Also palm leaves get wrapped around the gears and turbine. Probably would not be a problem if removed them before running the cleaner but to be quite honest I don't want to get up at 4:30 to check.
As Good As Pool Vacuums Costing Much More Don't underestimate this Zodiac. It replaced my previous $1500.00 and does an amazing job. Does the floor and walls. Sometimes get stuck near the ladder, but so did the old one. You won't get a better vacuum for the money.

ZODIAC Mx6 vs KREEPY KRAULY Normally I don’t write reviews but on this I feel like I need to share what I could not find myself while looking for a pool vac. I had a kreepy krauly for a year. I had to constantly pull it off the drain and out of corners. I bought the zodiac after a trip to the pool store and the guy recommended it to me.
