It worth every penny! I had the MX8 for 7 years. I had a guy working cleaning and maintaining the pool for a 2 years, but i got tired of him, so i decided to look for another MX, and i found this one. I love it. Is smaller than the MX8 but perform like the MX8. The only thing is that it gets stuck at the step when it goes side to aide, since one of the side lost traction, but eventually the rotation take it out of the problem. This thing rocks I bought a home with a pool 9 years ago. I do pool maintenance myself and tried many different pool vacuums. I favored the Barracuda G3 for many years until I took a chance on this when it was time to replsce this year. What was I waiting for!?! This thing is AMAZING. Eh….. soend the extra money for better product Clogs WAY to easy on leaves or debris. Very difficult to get the crawl speed set. Not pleased with my purchase.
This little beast does it's job If you get soggy twigs or grass in the pool it will tangle up in the robot and jam it. Other than that it's a beast at sucking up sand, dirt, and other particles. It climbs the walls well too. If yours does not climb the walls as mine initially did not, it may be time to clean your pool filter.
