Does the job Easy to assemble, getting the right speed is not hard (have to time how fast the wheel is spinning in 20 sec), the wheels don't seem to mark the pool surface, it does clean the walls and basically does the job. NOTE: when cleaning the walls at the waterline it often sucks air until it loses suction and falls to the bottom of the pool before resuming its cleaning which is annoying and not the best for the pump. It also gets stuck on the ladder and has to be "rescued".
Easy peasy I originally bought a‘roomba’ type cleaner which worked well but didn’t finish pool before requiring a 6 hour charge. This is far better and easy to use
Attention ENGINEERS for this product! (and potential buyers of course) This could easily go from 3 stars to 5 IF it was engineered to make more turns more frequently AND in the OPPOSITE (or any different direction) from the direction it was previously traveling. The issue? It generally runs in a straight line for too long and when it stops to make a turn it rotates around and around and around and then keeps right on going in the same direction it was headed. I love it! This vacuum works great. It has made my life so much easier!! We had a sand storm that left the bottom of the pool brown with sand. A few hours later, the pool was sparkling clean. Would absolutely recommend.

Works as stated I read the reviews and they were mostly good. It's the best option I could find for the $ and it does everything it's advertised to do. The only complaint I saw was that it can get clogged on big leaves. I've got a lanai so I don't get the big debris, so I can't speak to that. Cleanest my pool has ever been.
