Best care ever from the nursing staff to social services. PT & OT staff prepared me by building my strength, reasonably for a planned discharge. AM & PM CNA's are hands down the best. NOC shift needs more "Preston's" & he should be a role model for a few others on that shift.

I was sent to WestView from my home in Sacramento for treatment for severe lymphodema. I have never been in a treatment/rehab center before. I was impressed with the smell, because of the 200 odd incontinent permanent residents. The halls smell clean, and the place was very well maintained. The nursing staff was incredibly organized and treated me like a loved family member. I was very weak and required the intimate care of the nurses. Which brings me to the aides. Westivew took my family member in and provided such high quality care. I was so happy to visit daily and see my dad. He was happy there too.

People can say what they will about Westview; they may remember back when this was a place called Hilltop Manor, and they are not to be confused with one another. In October of 2019, both of my parents ended up here. First off, there is PLENTY of staff on hand. The place was constantly buzzing with way more staff than residents, which is a VERY good thing to encounter. Also, most of the staff that I spoke to was nice. If there were more stars to give in this review, I would rate this wonderful facility accordingly! I cannot praise this nursing home and its staff enough! My sister has only been there for 2 months and the improvements she has made because of the care she receives there is remarkable! My sister has dementia and before entering this nursing home, she only wanted to sleep all day and was very non-communicative. This is a top notch establishment. The leadership is the best. Mr. Pratt is a very caring man. I would highly recommend Westview to anyone in Auburn needing physical therapy or nursing care.

Was Westview perfect, no, but Westview was the only nursing facility that would accept my husband. His medical needs were so extensive that other facilities wouldn't accept him as a patient. Westview not only accepted him, but his care was excellent, not perfect but excellent. For 2 1/2 years, they worked with me hand-in-hand with my husband's care. The staff and support personnel on station 4 was caring and efficient at their job. If they weren't, they didn't last long. The staff was overwhelmed at times when the floor get... read more
