Run as fast as you can!! They lie to you! They dont have any way for you to contact them, if you contact the person who came to your house they ignore you, they dont leave you with any of the information they go over with you, and the 3 day right to cancel they make impossible for you to do!!! We cant get through to customer service! ******* told us the panels were covered for EVERYTHING including a new roof if needed! Lies! They will scam you so dont even waste your time on them. How they are even in business is beyond me.
I would provide 0 stars for our experience so far. Apparently, I need to give at least one star. On the website, they claim that they are fast at installing so it saves money, as well as highly rated by the BBB. All is false! We had our solar panels installed last summer and it took 5 months for them to be up and running. You would think a solar company would be better about communicating with their partners about permitting and such on top of better communication with the customers. I signed a contract in November of 2022, they took my deposit and that was the last I heard. I couldn't find any record an installation permit had ever been applied for with the county. I have read some of the other complaints and can only conclude there is a well-established pattern of deceit, stalling and apparently fraud. We had solar installed on our house by 1solar in January it is now June and we still don't have our solar connected. We have emailed and called 1solar multiple times and the few times that they actually respond the excuse is that they are waiting for blackhills to provide them with a part in order to connect the solar. I contacted blackhills and they responded with 1solar on the email and said that that was false and that blackhills is waiting for 1solar to provide them with the part and once they receive it they can connect... read more
The worst service I have ever experienced. We have been waiting 15 months for our panels to be connected. They keep lying to us: using the power company as an excuse. Absolutely terrible.

We have not tried to use the utility company as an excuse, but as a way to explain that we have to wait on them for certain things and there's only so much that we can do in those moments. My solar system was installed by 1solar. Months later, after several cancelled inspections, my system is still not hooked up by the city/xcel, my payment on the system is due, and 1solar claims it's not their responsibility anymore. I will now be paying double energy bills, one to xcel and one for the payment on my solar system, and 1solar refused to help me or reimburse me in any way.I do not recommend getting a solar system through 1solar unless you enjoy paying twice the energy bill you're used to for nothing in return. If the city cancels their inspection, or doesn't install the net meter in a timely manner, it is unfortunately a situation that is out of our hands. It would be incredibly helpful if the utility company would assist in reimbursments when the delays are caused by them, but sadly, that's not a possibility. Horrible company to deal with! Got a contract with them in March ******************************* September to latest October. I understand that things happen but I could get in touch with NO ONE for any kind of update. Then I finally gotd date for install, and no one showed. Tried to call and ghosted again. Negative star worst company to deal with been waiting for waranty repair since march its December wont answer phones they are more than frustrating on installation in service and anything after the sale
Nope, just nope, months and months of waiting, email after email. Finally installed different panels then sold, of course at the higher cost, and a full fail and told they need to start over. But they activated financing so now we are going to have to pay for electricity and panels we cannot use. Im ready to contact 9news
