The trainers are great. The gym is always crowded - but I still can get access to what I need. The major complaint I have is the smell. I have worked out at other 24 hour Fitness gyms and they didn't have this "sweaty socks" smell. Hard to stomach.
Dirty gym, dishonest membership employees. Needless to say, I will not be switching to 24 Hr.
Very nice gym and inspiring certified trainer. I visited Seattle and specially gone to 24 fitness to see the excellence of these people. Beyond imagination and marvellous ambiance.
Equipment is broke
Most machines are broken... for several months. ... maintenance needed... badly
Went in today to check out the facility but was turned away by the nasty receptionist as I didn't have photo ID on me. Looks like I won't be signing up at this facility anytime soon.
Love the location. Love the staff. Hate the equipment. With as many complaints as I hear, and north gate getting all the new equipment it seems like 24 hr corporate couldn't care less about how bad the state of equipment is. The staff is in a catch 22 because they constantly have to put up with the complaints.. Leg press machine was out. Glutes were out of commission several tbars are missing I mean seriously...
Initial service was rather forceful obtaining money, which seemed rude because I am new to Seattle and am looking for a gym which is my second home. $20 for a few hours just to see if the gym was a fit for me. I expected a free guest pass, which they said I had to do online. Rather absurd. But aside from being there during rush hour, the other members were nice and all the equipment in the world.
Agree with Carlos, super dirty and staff are apathetic about requests to please give it a good mop and wipe down
