Well the one time in 30 or so years i had an issue and management there was rude and not at all helpful i had to find assistance at another club...
I go to one in Compton and I just tried this one and I rather continue going to the Compton 24 hours. This gym doesn't have that much of machines. Most of their machines are the types that the seats has to move when you do the workout, there locker room is messy, sauna seats are dirty, towels everywhere.
When a personal trainer asks me if their client can jump in between sets I didn't realize that they would have their client do the ENTIRE exercise without getting off the machine. I'm no PT but from what I saw the client wasn't even doing the exercise properly. I finally ended up leaving to a different machine. Not cool.

I personally had very bad experience. Team from Lakewood centre mislead the people on new registrations and cancellation. They don't keep-up their words and does not accept/respect they own policies (thought written on application). so my advice would be "BE CAUTIOUS" when registering the membership.
I really liked this gym until I found out they were changing their kids club hours. Now I can't even use the gym without rearranging my whole work schedule, which I don't know if I can even do. Even if I rearranged it, this means it's going to be impossible to do a noon class if I want to take a shower afterward. As soon as I step out of the class I will have to leave. I'm very unhappy about this--keep the current kids club hours, don't change them!!
Needs staff to fix broken machines and clean. Machines broken for 1 1/2 months . It was such a nice gym but they let it go to hell. Today I couldn't find one bottle of cleaning spray to clean the equipment anywhere all of them were empty and that place is dirty. The sinks in the bathroom go weeks at a time flooded with dirty water. Very unprofessional
They cut out Tkb again starting 2/29. This gym sucks because I signed up for Tkb and obviously the management does not care. 24 hour never replies to client feedback at all. Go to LA Fitness where people give a damn about your thoughts !
