We have been coming here for about five years and have generally had great experiences. The staff is kind and my cat is comfortable here. The reason for my low rating is that they made a change in September to their prescription policy. Now they've made it very inconvenient to fill prescriptions outside of their own online pharmacy. I wouldn't mind doing that if the pricing was similar or if there wasn't a flat handling fee on every order. I rarely post reviews but not informing people about my experience has been worrying me about the well being of other pets.This is a long one but the premise is Dr Leach is afraid of bully breeds and treated my dog like sh*t numerous times.She said that my dog is an "AGGRESSIVE INTACT MALE" when I fired her as a vet she threatened to call every vet I go to after I left to tell them(she put this in bold italic on his records the minute I left. 13 minutes late due to a genuine mistake on my part--I thought I was early. I would have been on time if I hadn't had to run home to grab my wallet, not realizing I was late. The vet showed no flexibility despite my cat needing care for a cough. They charged me $30, which felt incredibly petty. Seriously, get a life. Is there a no stars option? Just went through the reviews on Google and here and many people echo my story. Make sure you read them all. This is one of those mega vets owned by a big conglomeration made to look like a local vet, but it's not. You've been warned. Well the love affair is over. I would post a long drawn out review but I'll just say this, When trying to figure out what was going on with my dog I went and received a second and third opinion. When I notified them of the other opinions they immediately terminated care citing "questioning our doctors is not something we tolerate". They push production and could care less about your pets.

First off, I thought I received excellent care when we went to this vet. However. There is a whole disaster of a situation to make me think they are the worst vet in Denver. I had my dog go in for an insurance physical. I made it very clear that she needed a full work up, and needed her records to reflect a full work up - whatever the results were - I needed them on record. In the three years I've brought my dog to 5280 I've never missed an appointment and because I was 15 minutes late for shots and checkup that would have taken all of 5-10 minutes and 230 bucks was told the vet tech wouldn't see my dog at that time. After driving 30 minutes in morning traffic to get there you'd think they would be more flexible for a repeat client. I have been going to this vet for 2 years. Today I was met with a very rude employee Ashley who continued to interrupt me as she kept repeating herself on how they have told me that we were not allowed Proin for my dog as she needs to have blood work done. Every month it is something different that needs to be done with my lab. They consistently upcharge and I feel recommend unnecessary treatments. I will thankfully be moving on to another vet who I expect will be treating me with common sense in customer service.

We really wanted this place to be better. It's so close. It's so convenient. All 4 of the vets that we have seen have been friendly and clinically competent. However, they are frustratingly disjointed, mismanaged and consistently up charge, price gouge and recommended unnecessary treatments. After speaking to numerous other people in the area, this appears to be a common experience. We'll be looking for doggy care elsewhere.
