the literal worst vet clinic I've ever been to. So difficult to get ahold of. Never want to see the pet, always refer myself and others who go to the vet ER. Instead of being available and caring for my dog, they care about what can make them the most money. It is absolutely disgusting. The people are horrible as well.. extremely unaccommodating.

Hi Meghan, Thank you for your feedback. The essence of our values and who we are start with patient-centric, compassionate care, and best-in-class service, so hearing you felt otherwise is very upsetting to us. We wanted to reach out to you directly but we were unable to confidently identify you in our practice management system based on your Yelp username. Meghan, we genuinely try our best to see as many urgent cases as we can in between our appointments but sometimes have to refer patients to other locations or suggest r... read more
I took my dog in for separation anxiety and stomach issues due to the anxiety. I was told that I need to exercise my dog more and buy her puzzles to give her mental stimulation (which is not the issue), the issue is I had to pay $120 for the visit for them to tell me to exercise my dog who is suffering from anxiety as if I already don't exercise her. I was also told to purchase supplements and a pheromone collar through their website which was another $80. I ordered these items over a week ago and still have not received the... read more

Hi Amanda P., Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are very sorry to hear of your disappointment in us, as we genuinely believed in the guidance we'd provided you after receiving your email. For every pet that we see, and especially those managing challenging conditions like separation anxiety, it's vital to work together. While prescription medications can help, our goal is always to find permanent solutions. In the case of your sweet pup, our veterinarian recommended lots of physical exercises and mental exercises be... read more
I've had several different veterinarians in towns & cities I've been a resident of the past 40 yrs. I have always had pleasant business relationships with staff and the attending Vets. But his place, it has greed written all over it. After attending them several times and experiencing this, I found myself pressing for details and explanations for charges and the need for recommended services etc. The self entitle young desk staffers who were usually my only option to ask these questions to over the phone, took offense to ... read more

I came to 5280 veterinary care as a first time dog owner after it was recommended by a friend. I had several issues: 1. They told me the lepto vaccine was required (it is not) 2. My adult dog has already had a dpapp vaccine, but they said she needed a whole new vaccine and a booster (and the first vaccine counted for nothing). 3. They told me all boosters were no charge, and then charged me for boosters I believed them, being a new dog owner, and then reached out to the rescue as my dog was supposed to come with all shots.... read more

Called on Wednesday, April 7th to inquire if they are accepting new animal patients. Their voice greeting indicated that it may take some time (24-48 hours) to get a return call. It's now April 12th and there has been no follow up. Guess they do not need new clients.

Update: I received an email from the practice manager "firing" us from the clinic because we are "no longer a good fit." Just wow!

As a new dog dad, naturally I wanted the absolute BEST care for my baby French bulldog. I called , because I am not a veterinarian myself, and inquired about shots, how the shots work and based on what I was told by the breeder, what I needed to get my pup two weeks after receiving him. "Hope" I believe is her name, answered and is the absolute rudest, condescending, and nasty unprofessional person behind a desk I have ever encountered. She has continued to be condescending and cops an attitude every time I have to encounter... read more

I've had a great experience up until recently with 5280 and referred several people there. But over the past year things have started to slip (forgetting to take specific tests I've asked for on visits, etc. and raising costs). My dog recently had an injury and was experiencing a ton of pain. Called to see if there was a window and they happened to have one, so I rushed to get there driving 30 minutes, was delayed in traffic and called multiple times to let them know but kept going to voicemail. When I arrived at exactly t... read more

Hello Alexandra L., Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so sorry to hear about your disappointment with us. The essence of our values and who we are all start with patient-centric compassionate care. The vet told me that spaying my kitten would be a high risk procedure and then said I would have to make an appointment with her to discuss further as she did not have time to discuss without me coming in person to make sure they could even do the spay properly. This is very bad service and feels like an effort to get me to pay an appointment for any information on the spaying process...very disappointing and I decided to go with another vet as a result.

Hello Lizzie B., Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so sorry to hear about your disappointment with us. In order to give in-depth medical advice or perform any type of surgical procedure, our hospital policy requires a doctor-patient relationship. We learn a great deal from a full physical examination, and it would be a disservice to both our clients and their animal companions if we ignored this protocol as it is vital in ensuring the pet's safety and well-being. Though a spay procedure is considered a routine ... read more
