Bartender refused to serve us drinks because we had New Jersey licenses. Took our licenses to the manager who "did not feel comfortable serving us" and spoke to us condescendingly after refusing the drinks.

Well I had never been here and my wife convinced me to leave the place we were and swing in. We walked in and went to sit at the bar. There were 4 open seats and all with dirty dishes in front of them. The people said no one was there and there was a clear nasty liquid all over the bar top. There were four bar tenders, two men and two women. They never greeted us. They never removed the dirty food dishes or cleaned the bar top. Here's a review that could go on and on about their flavorful food, reasonable prices and great service. BUT... Julius takes service seriously and kicks it up more than a notch! He's completely awesome! We were exhausted and starving when we arrived and they were packed! We snagged a table in the bar, Julius noticed immediately and remembered our drinks from earlier in the week and placed our order with the bar. Mmmmm Awful VIBE-well it's decorated fine and has a rustic sporty combo. It was busy not sure how or why or what the theme is suppose to be? If you want a beer and watch a game maybe but to come because of the food and service? There are much better options. Overall, it was a disaster. SERVICE-Food arrived and came out way late and not all at once and 2 of the orders were not even what we ordered but took it anyway because it had taken so long! We eat at 54th Street several times a month and have throughout Covid. Our service last night was exceptional. Gabby was on top of every request and even had a great team of fellow waitstaff to support her so that we were never waiting. In a time where most of us have been operating in a bubble with not a whole lot of support/communication it was really nice to see a team work so well together and seem genuinely happy to do it. So thanks to Gabby and the team!

My bf and I came in a little before 10 and they closed at 11. We ordered our food and I ordered the fettuccine alfredo which was not really that good. It had a lemon pepper seasoning taste to it and even my bf agreed. We did have the chef come out and aplologize to us for the wait and he took back my plate and gave my something else instead. He also gave us free dessert. Good service!

Lord help you if Nancy is your waitress & doesn't like you.... you won't get service! she took our beer order & I think manager on duty brought it out to us. Arrived at 8:20pm, took our beer order and she never checked in on us untiL 9:00pm! "were we doing ok?"

Last night we had the best time at dinner I think I've had in a long time. Our server Nancy was more then amazing, she was attentive and very knowledgeable! But what was more amazing, is the manager Eli was very attentive to not just our table, but surrounding tables as well! They both are a huge asset to your restaurant and deserve much kudos. We will definitely be back sooner then later. The food was amazing and the restroom was well kept!!!!
