Food is normally pretty decent and the service is great once you are actually seated. Came in on a Friday night and was told a 30 minute wait. Waited over and hour while other parties were sat. Spoke to the manager about the issue and he acted as if it was no big deal. My wife was extremely frustrated and disappointed because we can normally expect much better treatment. Do not go on a semi-busy night.
Business lunch, grilled buffalo chicken chopped salad was unique and delicious. Service was very attentive, friendly and fast. This is a solid restaurant, better than most in this category.
Not sure why this spot gets bad reviews, 1 they stay open late 2 the food is great 3 the prices are fair, for a restaurant such as chilis Applebee's etc these were the best ribs upon all 3 and that bread was excellent.
This is definitely one of our 'go-to' places for dinner. Wide variety of menu options and good service (usually). My husband LOVES the chicken fried steak!!
54th Steet- Thank you for accommodating our party of 10 for my sister's bday. Service was great. Got all of our orders correct with all the special requests. Enjoyed the food.
Not my usual stop, but I was driving through KS and just needed a meal. I was pleasantly surprised with my Summer Blend salad (minus bleu cheese). It was large enough to satisfy, and the balsamic vinaigrette was perfect with the candied pecans. My hubby got the Fajita Salad with crumbled veggie patty (no cheese, no sour cream). 54th Street was certainly a happy find. Starting with the Baked Potato soup or Potato Kegs has become our routine. The French Dip was piled high with tender prime rib. The Pork Tenderloin is as big as the plate. Attentive service and giant to go iced teas, too. Their reward system is one of the best I've ever used. Large "bar food" menu has lots to choose from,,,chicken, burgers, or whatever! May have to visit weekly.
On last night I had one of my worst restaurant experiences since relocating to Olathe. The party of 5 that I came with had to ask 4 times to get my chips with our gringo dip. The wait time between our waitresse coming to check on our table was about 20 minutes. We watched a party of 7 be seated and no one ever came back to check on them. First of all this is my families favorite restaurant. My wife and I eat here 3 times a week at least and for the most part we get exceptional service and food. Most of the employees know who we are and usually know what to order for us before we order. We have only had a few bad experiences and unfortunately it has been with the same manager on site name Brian. He is rude, unaccomodating and disrespectful.
