I absolutely have loved 54th since the very beginning, but I don’t understand why they keep messing with the menu. I am so disappointed. The latest, getting rid of the seasoned ground beef and using shredded beef on their dishes is the worst. Its disgusting!

This was our third visit in a row where the food was just awful. The filet mignon was thin and over cooked the potato was cold and raw. The fish tacos were mushy. The salad was good the service was good to bad the food wasn’t �

We've only eaten at the restaurant twice and both times at least one member of our family had food that was either dry or just unedible in some way. Even after telling the waitress they offered nothing the first time and the second time offer to remake the food but as many of you know it's hard to eat a meal after everyone else is done and they're waiting on you when you feel like you've lost your appetite. Nothing about this place is impressive. The food is horribly over seasoned. During one visit I got the rattle snake pasta. The picture looks delicious and it shows a white cream pasta. The description warns it’s spicy but I figured the cream sauce would balance it out. When the pasta was brought out the sauce was brown because so many spices were added to it. Tonight was the first time we’ve been here in a few years. Before the food was always pretty good and the service was great. Tonight was a totally different story. It took an hour to be seated (party of 5 on a Thursday), once we were seated it took another 15 minutes to get our order placed, the food was below average, and to top it all off, the waiter forgot to put in my wife’s order. We have dined here a few times and have loved it. Last nite was a totally different experience. Our food, which was cold and we could tell had been sitting in the back for quite some time, came out before our appetizer did. It was fine. Nothing special or over the top. I had the Reuben and the meat was ok but the bread was so soggy I took it off. My husband had the gyro and it didn’t have much flavor. Service was ok, she took a while to come to the table then a long time before coming back so we could order and we had to ask for the check after telling her we were done. It wasn’t horrible by any means, but not worth a second trip.
