As a first-time patient, I was horrified by the way this doctor examined me. She failed to do a thorough check of all my skin abnormalities and rushed me in and out in 10 minutes. I should have left when she told me NOT to remove all my clothing--FOR a SKIN exam?All she did was take four biopsies that were all keratosis just to make a quick buck. Her hands shook the entire time she was using a scalp blade. I will never go back. Academic Alliance in Dermatology should be ashamed hiring her.

Dr. Buchbinder-Herschman seemed bothered, rushed, and was very abrupt. The skin cancer screening I requested was thorough at all, as whole areas were ignored. Entire visit with the doctor was less than ten minutes. And that included three super fast and not very careful biopsy incisions. I would not see her again and would not recommend at all.

Doctor has no bedside manner. Apparently she needs to retire if she doesnt want to provide attentive friendly care. I felt like I was judged for having medicaid even though I had genuine concerns. I honestly feel like she intentionally tried to make the visit unpleasant. Do the patients a favor and retire... we need more kind, thorough, caring doctors in the world. One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a doctor was with Ligaya Buchbinder Hershman. She was extremely rude, dismissive, and overall did not care about why I was there. I ended up having to make a new appointment with a different doctor after seeing her as she did NOTHING for what I came in for. She even raised her voice at me. Will never return to her again.

Felt like I was bothering her by being there, maybe bc I was there for actual dermatology appt and not cosmetic. Felt very rushed did not address the 2 spots of concern I actually came in for til I asked again as she was walking out the door. She found something to freeze and then tried to walk out the door. Not worth my copay. Less then 5 minutes in a room.

This is not about the doctor - it is about the people who work for him. I called on 11/06/20 and the person who answered the phone gave me an appoint. ( 12/17 - 9 am). I called back 5 days later after finding my card and the person who answered the phone was so rude. She told me I didn't have an appointment. I had to call the office back because in the middle of the phone call someone having an emergency called me asking for help. When I did, few minutes later, another rude person answered.
