I’ve been taking my 4 kids to the south location for 10yrs, the vision is absolutely incredible but the dental front desk worker and office manager are terrible. We had an appointment for 12:30, I called because we were stuck behind an ambulance and wreck, to let them know we were running late- we walked in 1 minute late and they canceled our appointment after driving 20 minutes to get there. They need to take more time to make their patients feel comfortable, especially when it's their first time to the dentist.
The staff is very friendly but they are way too over booked. They are constantly behind on keeping up with appointments and quite regularly forget patients have checked in.
I’ve been taking my kids here for years with no issues. Until today. The dental assistant who took care of my daughter today was not AT ALL empathetic to my daughters nervousness. She was very short with her while she was crying and told her “I thought you were a big girl but I guess I was wrong” TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! My 7 year old was super nervous and scared and that’s how this lady handled it. She has NO business working for a pediatric dentist! 😡
Our first visit we signed in on their check in sheet while they had a meeting. They never checked us in and we waited over 30 mins when we got there when they had just opened. Finally when I went up to the desk they said “oh, he’s checked in now” No apology. Dr piñon and her assistant were great. Very friendly and thorough She said we needed a follow up in two months which was fine. We arrived for that today, early again and waited close to 40 mins. They were just supposed to fix my daughter's broken tooth. Instead they filled non existent cavities and were cold, rough and unfeeling when doing it. All for that Medicaid money perhaps? They're vision clinic was dirty, disorganized and also seemingly intent on helping us spend the allotted Medicaid funds. They cold called me today and it brought back that unpleasant memory. Do NOT take your children here if you want caring, professional and ethical treatment.
