Not family friendly… food was over priced for the quality and quantity… worst experience for gulf shores. There are restaurants in gulf shores/orange beach/ Pensacola that are so much better.

Was excited to eat here from the reviews. Never again, my red beans and rice literally came out of a can, my kid had severely fatty wings, he ate 1.5 out of 6. Definitely disappointed

I have eaten at The Acme Oyster House several times before and this was VERY disappointing. My shrimp and oyster were over cooked, hush puppies were warm at best. The best thing about the whole dinner was my Myers and Tonic with a lime.
After being disappointed last trip because we learned too late that Acme closes on Sunday we were sure to schedule this trip and our meals to accommodate our desire to dine there. My mom and I arrive at ACME at 11:26am. The front door is unlocked, we enter and sit to left of door in a row of empty chairs along wall, we did not seat ourselves at a table. My 2 year old was having fun and apparently this annoyed staff and customers. Hardly a 5 star restaurant— mediocre at best to be complaining about a toddler laughing loud.
Parking lot was nearly empty on a Saturday night & that should have been our first clue. It was raining outside & people were sitting on the front porch. We go in & it’s going to be at least 75 minute wait. The place is nearly empty & could have way more tables. The tables that are empty could have been filled by people waiting.
