ACT repaired my fridge and stove with great results. The technician ***** was a quiet type, not talkative but focused solely on the job, which was fine with me. He got right to work in a professional way, identified the problems and repaired them quickly. I also appreciated the way he put plastic covers over his shoes before he entered my home. Days later I'm still happy with the job he did.
Act Appliance was contracted by ******************* to fix the leaking issue on my ******* fridge and dishwasher broken stop Clip for the top rack. The technician came on May 28th tried to fit a new stop clip for my dishwasher, however the clip that he had did not fit my dishwasher and said he will get one ordered for me. 0 star - BEWARE OF THEIR SCAM Used them through American Home Shield to repair my fridge.They will claim that you need various new parts and bill the warranty. They will "fix" your appliance by replacing parts that aren't broken with old busted parts they've collected from scamming customers. I had a simple issue with an LG ice maker, but the experience was anything but simple. From the start, I got nothing but pushback. This has to be the worst company *** ever dealt with in my life. Our warranty company sent them out to fix a refrigerator That was cool but not cold. On the first visit, a technician shows up with no tools and simply looks at the refrigerator pokes around on the front panel and decides it needs new sensors and a new board. ACT appliance is a scam. ACT appliance was assigned an incident through Assurant for a cooktop. This company is a scam. The technicians are highly unprofessional. We complained for unusually high flames on the cooktop. Not only they didn't fix the issue but made it worse by practicing on my cooktop. Our ** refridgerator stopped working. We bought extended warranty via Lowes from ********. They assigned ACT appliance repair. The technician who came spent 30 min taking the refridgerator apart and then told me everything was ok. He couldn't speak any English. Only Russian. So he communicated through ****** translate. I am extremely frustrated with the poor communication and service from American Home Shield (AHS). We requested repairs for our microwave and dishwasher. AHS assigned ACT Appliances for our repair. During the first visit, the technician performed a small test and claimed the microwave was not broken and evaluated the dishwasher, stating that he needed to order parts. ACT Appliance was sent to me via American Home Shield. It took them 5 recalls before they would recommend a replacement. I went two months without a working dryer. I would never utilize this company on my own. On top of it I asked two different times to speak to a manager... All I ever got was it has been requested.
